Older baby and sitter portraiture is the most underrated session type within our first year packages.
As your baby gets that little bit older, their big personalities begin to shine through, and we are able to
create portraits that capture this important milestone.
Sitter sessions are best suited to babies who are 6-9 months old, and are sitting confidently - although we are happy
to photograph babies at any age.
Your baby will be photographed by our internationally award winning photographer, Jordan - and just like with our
newborn sessions, Sally or Sophie will be on hand to help entertain and position your little one.
Although, we do advise bringing along your baby's favourite toy to help keep them relaxed and happy.
During your sitter session, you will have exclusive use of the studio and there is plenty of time to take little breaks for a
feed/snacks if your little one gets a little overwhelmed. We aim to create a fun and relaxed experience for everyone
involved in the session.
At the studio we keep a selection of props and outfits which are available for you to use.
In our full sitter sessions, there is no limit on the number of changes - although we typically work through 2-4 outfit
changes so that it doesn't become too much for your little sitter.
Our end goal is to create truly timeless and stunning portraiture of your baby, that will last for generations to come.
After the session, we will invite you back to the studio for a viewing/ordering appointment where you can select which
images and products you'd like to purchase. Once your order is placed, your images will be fully retouched by hand to
an award winning standard - guaranteeing that your images will look perfect in print. From there your images will be
sent to our incredible artwork partners, where they will be produced into the most incredible products that will last a lifetime.

A consultation at the studio or via telephone to discuss what you'd like to acheive from the session.

Exclusive use of the studio for upto 2 hours (working entirely at baby's pace).

During the session we will typically work through a selection of outfits, props and backdrop changes.

A cinema style viewing appointment where you will get to see and select your images for purchase. We will guide you through our options, putting together a bespoke order tailored to your needs.
Clients typically spend between £399-£3000 on portraits for their home.

What qualifications do you have?

Jordan is one of the UK's most highly qualified and leading newborn photographers, having gained his Associateship with the Master Photographers Association - among other accolades.
When is the best time to book?
You can book your sitter session at any point after the birth of your baby, but in terms of scheduling a date - we recommend waiting until your baby starts showing signs of confidence when sitting unaided. As soon as they are sitting for 30+ seconds without tumbling, we can confidently book a date for 4-6 weeks in the future where they should then be fully sitting unsupported.
How long do the sessions last?
Sitter sessions can vary in length depending on how your baby is feeling on the day. Typically, these sessions last around an hour but can take a little longer if baby gets a little unsettled at time.
What do I need to bring?
We advise bringing a couple of baby's favourite toys, and a snack/milk. We have a selection of outfits at the studio, but you're welcome to bring your own.
Of course, if you have something specific or sentimental in mind please don't to hesitate to ask us for advice on bringing it along.
Are siblings and parents included in the session?
With our sitter sessions, they do focus mostly on just your little one. We can include some simple family poses, although if you're looking for a variety of images with siblings and parents then
we advise booking a family portrait sitting instead.

How do I order my images?
After your session, we'll invite you back to the studio for your reveal appointment where we will present your images on our large screen TV. At this appointment we'll go through all of your images and start putting a bespoke order together for you.
